UFC 149 will take place on July 21, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We were one of the first sites to report that this would be the card that Jose Aldo would defend his UFC Featherweight Title (still no announced opponent).
We are now one of the first sites to report that this card will now bolster a fight between Thiago Alves and Yoshihiro Akiyama aka Sexyama. Akiyama will look to snap a four-fight losing streak. Alves on the other hand will be looking to bounce back after having Martin Kampmann chock him out with less than 30seconds left from what looked like a sure win via decision.
