Nick Diaz to face World Champion!!

Nick Diaz has found his next opponent but this one won't be in a cage. It was announced about twenty minutes ago that Nick Diaz and BJJ World Champion, Braulio Estima have agreed to a BJJ Super-Fight. It will take place on May 12th at the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo in Long Beach, California. This "Super-Fight" will be at 180lbs. This will be Nick's first fight since losing via decision to Carlos Condit and then testing positive for marijuana in the post fight drug test.

For those unaware of whom Braulio Estima is here is a little history lesson from our friends at bigbadwolfmedia.com.

If the name sounds familiar it is because GSP brought Estima in as a BJJ coach last year. He is a three time World Champion and his last win came at the world renowned Abu Dhabi Combat Club  Submission Wrestling Championship where he defeated Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza in a Super-Fight.

Diaz is no slouch when it comes to BJJ though, he is a black belt under the family that created BJJ, The Gracie's. Nick earned his black belt under Cesar Gracie but has not competed in a BJJ match in two years. Some of his BJJ accomplishments include winning the US Purple Belt Open in 2004 and a Pan American Brown Belt Medium Weight Division title in 2005.

As of right now there is not a nation wide broadcast of this super-fight but mmacagechatter.com will be the first to tell you if we hear anything.
