The war of words begins between Alves and Bahadurzada

Thiago Alves and Siyar Bahadurzada are not set to fight until July 21st at UFC 149 but that hasn't stopped the two from throwing jabs at each other here in May.

  It all started when Alves guaranteed a finish in his next fight, something Siyar took offense to. He took to Twitter and posted "Alves says he'll knock me out. The only thing Alves can ever beat me in is a beauty context (contest)! Even that will be impossible after our fight!!!!"

 
  Alves has never been one to back down from a verbal assault or challenge and I would keep my eyes on Twitter and interviews because I am sure we will hear more from these two and July 21st gets closer. Both fighters are looking to add a huge win to their record as Alves is coming off a loss to Martin Kampmann and Siyar is coming off that huge uppercut knockout of Paulo Thaigo.
