The Fight: Ross Pearson vs Cub Swanson
This fight pits two guys that have very similar style against each other. Swanson fights out of Jackson's Submission Fighting and Pearson is out of The Alliance. Both fighters have combined for 5 Fight of the Night awards and this one (if not for Guida Maynard) could be a heavy favorite to continue that trend. I look for this to be an exciting stand up fight but don't sleep on the ground game of either fighter, Pearson seems to break the stereotype of UK fighters and is very comfortable on the ground and he is also the former TUF season 9 winner. This one is really a toss up due to the way I think the fight will stand and bang. Pearson is the more seasoned fighter but Swanson has definitely fought the tougher guys.
Prediction: Sawnson via Decision 29-28. It is tough to go against Cub in this fight because of where he trains, who he trains with and the caliber of his past opponents.

The Fight: Brian Ebersole vs T.J. Wuldberger
This fight could and I expect it to be a SUBMISSION CLINIC! If you are a fan of ground work this is your fight! These guys have combined for 32 submission victories! T.J holds a brown belt in BJJ and Brian is an amazing wrestler. Brian will be looking for his 11th straight win (last loss to Lombard in CFC) as T.J is looking to start a new winning streak after winning his last two.
Prediction: Brian Ebersole via TKO (ref stoppage gnp). I believe that Brian's ground game is just better and he will gain a full mount or side mount late in 2nd or 3rd where he ends the fight.

The Fight: Sam Stout vs Spencer Fisher
A lot of people don't remember when these two faced off back in 2006 when Stout made his UFC debut at UFC 58, he took the split decision. They have moved on since then to have solid careers but at this moment Sam seems to be on the way up as Spencer is coming to the end of the road. He is coming off two straight losses and with how cut throat the division is a loss here could be the end of the road. Both fighters are coming off loses to the same guy (Thaigo Tavares), Stout went to decision where as fisher lost via TKO. When we interviewed Antwain Britt he mentioned that one of the toughest punchers he had ever been hit by was Sam and has a 2inch reach advantage tonight!
Prediction: Stout via KO late in round 1 or middle of 2. Fisher is a smaller guy and the lack of a long reach lets Sam sit out in his zone and throw bombs.

THE MAIN EVENT: Clay Guida vs Gray Maynard
Hit the rest room early, don't blink or take your eyes on TV could this could be the Fight of the Year and with the way these guys bang could be over quick (I don't think it will though). This fight could headline it's own PPV and in my eyes should have been moved to next weekend because of implications it has, the winner of this fight is a top three guy in my opinion. This fight will be the definition of cardio machine and head movement and will be interesting to see who lands their take downs and can hold the other guy down. Frankie was able to beat Gray because he could keep him on the ground and Clay struggled with Henderson's reach in his last loss. This is a equal fight and I see it going all 5 rounds (keep in mind all main events are 5 rounds.
Prediction: Maynard via decision. I expect this to be the ground version of Hendo vs Shogun.
